LASTOLITE WINS THE QUEEN’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE

Lastolite Ltd, a manufacturer and supplier of photographic lighting and background accessories of Vitec Group, has received the highly prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

Bassano del Grappa, 21 April 2011 – Lastolite Ltd, the manufacturer and supplier photographic lighting and background accessories, was today honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The award was publicly announced  today - the Queen’s birthday - and Lastolite is one of the very few businesses to receive this prestigious accolade. The International Trade Award recognizes substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success at outstanding levels, based on 3 years trading results.

The company provides innovative solutions to photographers’ needs and operate through a network of distributors in 55 countries worldwide. A wide range of marketing activities has contributed to this outstanding achievement, which has resulted in 10 new jobs being created.

The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious Awards for business success. It is formally conferred by a Grant of Appointment and is symbolised by a presentational item depicting the Emblem.
